Update 3

The tumor is out. The doctors were able to remove the entire tumor. It was growing on the balance nerve, so that was removed with it. The balance nerve on the opposite side will eventually compensate. They still need to close and they anticipate that will take 2-3 more hours. After that, it’s to ICU for the night.

  2. Dan...I had a God moment this afternoon that just confirmed to me that Jen is going to do great post surgery. We had received a name of a potential sitter to help after my maternity leave and for the end of the school year. Turns out of all the people I could talk to here in Tipp...her husband had an Acoustic Neouroma also..and another distant relative. She told me it was a larger tumor and some of the recovery outcomes. Let's just say I knew God was speaking to me through somebody else that Jen will be just fine...she is so loved!

  4. Praise God...we are so glad to hear this news! My heart is just jumping for joy and we will continue to lift you guys up through the recovery.

You will have to tell Jen this funny story about Ayden soon. Last night we were praying before bedtime and he kept saying "no, no" and squirming around (can we say terrible 2's...aaahh), but I swear on my life the moment I said we want to lift Ms. Jen up, he got real quiet, looked at me and said "Jen" He was peaceful the rest of the time...children's prayers amaze me! Tell her she can still run a tight ship with him even at the mention of her name, ha-ha!
