Pictures-2

This is a picture from Sunday afternoon. She's out of bed and in the chair. Next up, walking the halls (after we figure out how to close the back of her gown).

  1. Jenn - You look amazing! I am so amazed and inspired by your strength and attitude! I thought you got new pj's so your tail didn't show! :) Good luck on the walking of the hallways! You can do it - you can do anything you set your mind too! So good to see your smile! God Bless! Kim Wilder

  2. Ask for another hospital gown and put it on as if it were a robe. Promise you won't keep them both, because I understand there is quite a market for those on eBay!

I am so excited to see you doing so well!

    Stay strong!

  5. Look at you Jen - you look great - and the half turban could be a new fashion look. :) Go shake you booty as you walk the halls! (After four kids, I am sure all modesty is gone) :) Absolutely amazing you are! You have been such an inspiration for the rest of us. Stay strong and keep flashing those doctors and nurses your beautiful smile. Prayer and well wishes!! Lisa R

  6. Do you ever take a bad picture? You are AMAZING! Ditto to Kathy's comment. When I was in the hospital last year I can't tell you how happy I was to have TWO gowns to do exactly what Kathy recommended. WE LOVE YOU AND ARE SO PROUD OF YOU! The Butlers

  7. Hi Jenn, You look absolutely fabulous which I knew you would. I'm so glad you only have half of a turban so hopefully that cuts the itching in half and you won't need the infamous chop stick. My husband used to to say that I looked sexy in my turban so I'm sure Dan feels the same especially with that hot gown--HA! You have tons of hair so Amy will be able to do all kinds of styles for you. You have been in my thoughts and prayers tons and everyone elses around Tipp. Keep us posted on how you are doing can't wait to hear all of the details.
God bless you and your family!

  8. Jen - Austin had a great basketball game! It was great to see him and the other boys there. Nolan, Gordon and Landon brought me your dad's camera to show me a picture of you, their beautiful mother. They are so proud of you!! Lisa

  10. Yep - ask for another gown - works wonders. Although if it's cold an actual nice warm robe would probably feel better and not be near as drafty haha. :-) Lookin' good Jen, looking good. I pray walking in the halls will be easily done. God Bless!

  11. Jen...you look amazing! I can absolutely see your positive spirit shining through. You are an inspiration. I'm so sorry I didn't know about this sooner. I am staying on top of this blog to make sure I know the updates on you. I was so touched by your stories of support from your friends and family as you worked your way to surgery day.

I haven't been to church in a few years, but I took my family today with you in mind. I said a prayer and I will continue to keep my thoughts on you for a speedy recovery!

Stay strong! You have amazing support and you deserve all this love!

  14. Jen - your smile is so beautiful. And that gown! You should see if you can borrow about 35 of them and maybe all of us at Mom2Mom can wear one during your first meeting back!! Kidding aside, I cannot tell you what an inspiration you are to me. Can't wait to welcome you back home!

  17. Hey Jen! It is GREAT to see you smiling! Your family support and your positive attitude are just amazing. I think of you often, check the blog and shared your story with my family and friends. As you know, we are living in Cincinnati, so all of our prayers only have to travel a short distance to your hospital. Stay strong! Kasey Thorner-Maynes
