Jen!!! You look terrific! It's amazing that your ear was off and your head was cut open one week ago! (hee hee - my dad told me what the surgeon said about putting your ear on upside down- FUNNY!) KEEP RESTING!!! DON'T OVERDO IT! REST, REST, REST!!!
The kids and myself were so happy to see this pic of you. We think you look great, can't believe it has been a week already before you know it you will be posting a 6-month post-op pic. I can't wait until things settle down I can't wait for one of our afternoon chit-chats again. I don't want to call and bother you so give me a call I would love to hear your voice Jen. So happy you are doing well!!! All of our thoughts are with you..The Galbraiths
Oh Jen - you look great! I had to look twice to remember which side the surgery was on - you don't need a comb over - you can't tell a thing. I can't wait to see you, but don't want to interupt your recovery and rest. Thank you for sharing your journey with us (and for Dan's humerous posts) - you have made us all appreciate our blessings, faith, families and friends. As always, you are still in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs! Lisa PS - Jason wants Gordon to come play - so hopefully I can steal him for a bit next week. I'll steal Landon too if alright.
Wow!!!! Who could pick you out of a line up of who just had a brain surgery?---Could that be a new game show?--No! You look beyond fabulous and hopefully you will feel as good as you look soon! I had read Dan's comments. They were too funny. I understand totally about being protective with your washer--I'm right there too! Hopefully you are feeling much better without the pressure of the turban. Are your sutures/staples out yet? That will will help too. Have a great weekend! Lynn
You look great Jennifer. You would never know that you had been such a ordeal. Laughed at your husband's blog about the household duties. Guess they never really realize how much a wife/Mother does until they come face to face with the everyday dealings. I know he probably appreciates you more than ever now. He sounds like a keeper himself. You are so lucky to have him and your family for all their support and help thru this. We are heading out in the morning for our daughter's in Baton Rouge, La. for the week to babysit our granddaughter, Avery while her parents go to Las Vegas on business/pleasure trip. Take care and tell you Dad hi. Cousin Marlene
Jen, you look great!!! I feel so proud of you, though I don't know why. I guess aunt by marriage works!! I know Dan appreciates you even more now that he had to tackle laundry. I was sick with a bad cold for only a week and the laundry just sat. Imagine that with the age of my kids...you'd think they were helpless or something. Well, enough about me. You really do look great and you are a blessing and an inspiration to all of us. We love you. Laura
